Their first mission is to make it to Mount Weather, but it is going to be a lot harder than expected considering they landed miles away and they soon realize that they are not alone. This series has a ‘Lord of the flies’ vibe to it, with no rules, and no adults, someone must step up and be a leader.

Meanwhile, Ethan decides to track down the mayor named David Pritcher to get some real answers. Based on the trilogy by Blake Crouch.Wayward Pines is one of the most thought-provoking stories on the list of shows similar to The 100.

Persons Unknown

A lesser known addition to shows like The 100, is Persons Unknown. Persons Unknown isn’t in a post-apocalyptic world, but it is set in a ghost town. This series is about 7 strangers who each wake up in a hotel room with no memory of how they got there. Cameras are watching their every move, they are given commands by a mysterious voice, the only other sign of life other than them themselves.

The first thing they have to do is find a way out of the room. This show is filled with horrific decisions each stranger has to make in order to stay alive in the neverending game of kill or be killed.
